Rainwall (レインウォール, Reinuōru) is a location seen in Suikoden V. It is a town in the eastern part of the Queendom of Falena.
Information
Rainwall is located in the eastern Queendom of Falena and is a town governed by the Barows Faction, one of the two leading Falenan noble houses and opponent of the Godwin Faction.
It is a picturesque town with many water features and running water, befitting its name. In the center of town lies the Barows mansion. Despite its proximity to the New Armes Kingdom, the town is not fortified, relying on the eastern city of Estrise as a bulwark.
Early in the Sun Rune War, the town was the center of the Prince of Falena's counterattack against the Godwin army. Later in the war, Rainwall would be occupied by the Godwin forces, leading to much damage as well as the fall of the Barows family.
Following the town's liberation, several of its inhabitants would whisper of the atrocities committed by the Godwin forces during their occupation.

Rainwall's theme in Suikoden V is the song "The Water Capital", which is song 13 on disc 2 of the Genso Suikoden V Original Soundtrack. Following its occupation by the Godwin Faction, the theme changes to the more somber "Fallen", which is song 33 on the same disc.
