Biography

That might be what they're saying upstairs! But how do you know they're right!? What if it attacks right now!?

—  Peljid

Peljid was an Ionian soldier who fought in the HIY 100 Terrus Firma conflict as part of the 2nd Branch, serving as 2nd Spear Corporal at Zephtelos Fortress.

Although skilled and known as a brave fight, the war affected Peljid greatly. Even following the end of the conflict, she could bring herself to believe that the Terrus Firma had been vanquished. Because of this, she would make continuous patrols in the Apiro Desert outside Zephtelos Fortress.

Radnin would recommend that the hero bring his spearmen to Peljid to see if they could learn her technique. Although she was sharp and continued to focus on her patrols, both Ducas and Ermione were able to learn her skills by accompanying her. When Peljid's brother, Enhebat, went wandering, the company's smiths looked at her dulled blade to no avail. Still, this allowed Enhebat to pass on his technique as Peljid shared the experience with him later.

Following the fall of the barrier and realizing the futility of patrolling the desert, she joined Radnin's scalehorde unit where she became feared as a demon instructor. In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality were completely broken, however, she had such a hard time accepting the extinction of the Terrus Firma that she crossed the desert to confirm it before joining a migrant caravan.
