History

I don't know why making the stuff's the only thing I'm good at, even more than being a parent!

—  Odo

Kiaro was an apothecary from Martylion and the father of Kiaro. He served alongside his son in the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict providing support through his medicine-making skills. Initially he attempted to train his son as an apothecary but soon realized he was far more suited to herbology.

Following the conflict, Odo would remain at Tios Fortress, treating the elderly Yuyudraya there while Kiaro wandered between there and Zephtelos Fortress in the south. Kiaro would plant an Era Tree at Tios Fortress, allowing the hero to meet Odo.

Odo would attempt to arrange for Ketil to meet the Company to no avail but was able to introduce the group to Ufred, though he found the nobleman's cries for Martylion independence bothersome rather than inspiring. Unable to leave Yuyudraya for long, in order to deliver a medicine to Kiaro he would teach the ability to make it to one of the Company's apothecaries so they could make it and deliver it.

Meeting Nido, Odo was delighted at the prospect at having such a handsome descendant in his bloodline. Sunil, meanwhile, left him smitten and a little perplexed at her obliviousness. When hearing that an Era Tree could not be planted in Martylion for the Company, Odo seemingly read between the lines and realized a grizzly future was in store for the city.

Following the war, Odo would continue to take care of Yuyudraya until her passing. Following this he returned to Martylion where he made medicines for Kiaro. In a world of the Infinity where the chains of causality were broken, he and Kiaro would board a migrant ship to a new land following Yuyudraya's passing.
