Meroon (メルーン, Merūn) is a supporting character in Suikoden V. Meroon is a playful beaver architect who often travels to Raftfleet in order to frolic with humans.

Biography

Meroon is the second youngest of the five beaver siblings and one of the more outgoing members of her species. Possessing a childlike nature, when the majority of Beaver Lodge preferred to isolate itself from humans, Meroon would often travel to Raftfleet to play with others, especially her friend, Lun. She is also the one person that the often-confrontational Moroon never dares to cross and, indeed, is something of a calming influence on him.

After the attempted genocide of the beavers by the Godwin Faction, Meroon demanded that she be taken to Moroon by the Prince, who knew his location at the time. The usually bitter Moroon agreed to return to Beaver Lodge and after being calmed downed slightly by his siblings, he agreed to fight against the Godwins in the Imperial City Capture Army.

Meroon is fond of the peculiar expression "Nuoh", which according to her "doesn't really mean anything", although the type of inflection used when she said it would sometimes indicate her mood.

Following the end of the Sun Rune War, she continued her unofficial task of hauling Moroon home every time he ran away, a job she quickly learned to enjoy.
