Chein (チェイン, Chein) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Chein is a human warrior known to the Furious Roar as a worthy fighter.
History
Chein is a human warrior who practiced and honed her skills on the Marsinah Plains, making her known to the Furious Roar. She was a native of the 9th world, the world of the Chronicle of the Furious Roar, and the only human survivor.
She was friends with Lycia, and she frequently greeted Lycia by attacking her by surprise, allowing both of them to hone their fighting skills. It was one such encounter, with the hero also present that led to her becoming a Starbearer
Although she was on some level aware of the destruction of her native world, she did her best to readjust and reinterpret her experiences to suppress that knowledge, even as a Starbearer. Though as the war against the Order continued, she slowly became more open to the idea.
After the war, Chein returned to her wandering, fighting ways, often taking on huge monsters in the name of "training".
