Aldo (アルド, Arudo) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Aldo is an empathetic archer who tries to reach out to Ted during their time together.

Biography

Aldo was a young archer who spent his life living in forests. At some point, he apparently had become separated from his colleagues and was lost on the small Hermitage Island until he was rescued by the Island Liberation Navy.
Due to his isolation, he was at first uneasy around the many people on board the ship but his quite, good-natured personality seemed to quickly shine through. In addition, he cared about Ted, even as he tried to push others away from himself. Despite Ted's attitude, Aldo would continue to keep an open mind and pursue conversations with him.
Following the Island Liberation War, a concerned Aldo seemed to follow Ted for a time before passing away in a mysterious accident. Whether Aldo fell victim to the curse of Ted's Soul Eater or perished in a freak accident is unknown.
Trivia
If Ted is not recruited, his ending will change. Instead of dying, he returns to the forest.
