Yoshino Yamamoto (ヨシノ・ヤマモト, Yoshino Yamamoto), also known as Yoshino ( ヨシノ, Yoshino) in Suikoden II, is a character in Suikoden II. Yoshino is the wife of Freed Yamamoto.

Yoshino Y is the wife of Freed Yamamoto. She met Freed through Granmeyer, and the two were happily married for 5 years prior to the outbreak of the Dunan Unification War[1].
When South Window City was attacked by the Highland Kingdom, Yoshino became worried when Freed did not send word to her[2]. Yoshino was reunited with Freed when Hero (Suikoden II) and Freed came to Radat Town and decided to join Freed at the New State Army Headquarters.
Yoshino lent her skills with her naginata and laundry to the New State Army. Like Freed, Yoshino believed Lord Riou was a great leader, despite his young age[3]. Yoshino made Freed promise her that he would return to Radat after the war and live a quiet life with her[4].
Following the war, Freed lived up to his promise and returned to Radat with her, where they lived happily[5].
