Qlon (クロン, Kuron) is a character in Suikoden. He is a gatekeeper living in Antei, who later joins the Toran Liberation Army.

Biography

This is Toran Castle. I feel so good. —  Qlon

Qlon says the name of something.

A young gatekeeper hailing from Antei, Qlon's job was to brightly announce the name of the town to any travellers. His smile and bright greeting would relieve the hearts of weary travellers, tired of pushing through the wilderness. The young Qlon opposed the changing the name of Antei to 'Bier Blanche' under Milich Oppenheimer's oppressive laws, a name that he did not find particularly memorable.

After the defeat of Milich and the restoration of the original town name, a grateful Qlon joined the Toran Liberation Army. At Toran Castle, Qlon continued his role as gatekeeper, greeting any visitors that would come by by declaring the name of Toran Castle. His warm smile would lighten the hearts of more than a few arrivals at the castle. His gatekeeper duties were his real passion in life.

Following the war, Qlon accepted the official post of gatekeeper at Toran Castle, continuing to announce its name proudly to all who visit.
