Shiramine (シラミネ, Shiramine) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Shiramine is a skilled dragnet fisher and friend of Ugetsu.

Biography

I have been a fisherman all my life, but never have I caught a mermaid before! It was unbelievable! —  Ugetsu

Shiramine was a talented fisherman and a close friend of Ugetsu. He was a gentle and caring sort who cared a lot for his friend.

When Ugetsu joined the crew of the Headquarters Ship, Shiramine ended up being caught by his fishing rod and dragged aboard. Once cut loose, he agreed to also join the crew, working with Ugetsu at the rear of the ship to catch fish in his net. He would end up accidentally catching the mermaid Lilan with his net.

Following the Island Liberation War, Shiramine would end up becoming a fishing instructor in Razril, taking on Tal as one of his students.
