Practice Dragon Horse Riding (竜馬操技演習, Ryōma Misao-waza Enshū) is a minigame in Suikoden V. It can be accessed by talking to Yoran at Ceras Lake Headquarters following his recruitment.

This is a racing game where the player rides a dragon horse and control it to compete against other riders. The dragon horse itself runs on its own, so the player only needs to control its steering and speed. The player can also temporarily increase their mount's speed by using a unit of Stamina.
There are three courses of increasing complexity and difficulty, with each course being a three-lap race with six participating dragon horse riders.
When the player positions themselves behind a dragon horse, a slipstream air current will pull their mount along, increasing their speed. Dragon horse stamina is limited, so taking advantage of this slipstream is vital to securing victory.
