Lilin (リーリン, Rīrin) is a minor character in Suikoden IV. Lilin is the second youngest of the five mermaid sisters.
Biography

Lilin was the fourth of the five mermaid sisters who were separated and forced into hiding when Cray Trading Company began its mermaid-hunting activities in the Island Nations region. She was a rare breed among mermaids for her willingness to engage with humans despite her understandable fear of them.
Following this, she attempted to find her sisters again. She would first meet the future leader of the Headquarters Ship on the Deserted Island, helping him and his friends to get off the island. She would later encounter them again in the waters off of Obel, being hunted by Cray's underlings. After being rescued, she would join the crew of the ship, eventually opening an accessory shop on board the vessel.
Following the Island Liberation War, reunited with her four sisters, Lilin would return to the Deserted Island with her siblings for a time before setting out once again to find other mermaids who had went missing in the wake of the mermaid hunts.
