The Alert Rune (かくせいの紋章, Kakusei no Monshō), localized as Alertness Rune in Suikoden III, is a rune which appears in several games of the Suikoden series.
This rune has the power to awaken the magical talents of its bearer. During an extended battle, this rune will increase the magic attack prowess of its bearer, making it useful for stubborn enemies.
