Jandak (ヤンダック, Yandakku) is a character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Jandak is a scalehorde cook.

History

Could you teach me human cooking? I really want to learn delicate vegetarian dishes. —  Jandak

Jandak was a scalehorde who once served as a soldier at Zephtelos Fortress during the war against the Teras Pharma. However, cooking was his true passion, and he took to cooking his own meals, which became popular among the scalehorde contingent there.

Following the battle, he found cooking for humans to be much more difficult as humans had a more diverse palette than scalehordes. The hero was able to introduce Jandak to skilled chefs like Lulusa and Scharff, greatly expanding his skills. In return, he would teach the one scalehorde dish he knew was suitable for human consumption.

After the fall of Renefarious, Jandak would work at the shipyards in Nabarre, where he served his culinary specialties to the workers.
