Zoxiom (ゾシオム, Zoshiomu) is an antagonist in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Zoxiom is a member of the Vermilion Axe, hellbent on revenge on the Holy Empire of Ionia.

History

Hyahahahahahaha! It's time for me to have some fun!!

—  Zoxiom

Zoxiom was a member of the Vermilion Axe and the person in charge of the organization's magical research and aide to Aaron Barcai. Decades ago, his family had been killed by the Holy Empire of Ionia in the destruction of Schradt and he had pledged himself to revenge ever since. His leg was crushed in the tragedy, causing him to walk with a pronounced limp ever since.

He claimed to be researching methods as to control the Teras Pharma. His research began on the remains of the Teras Pharma used to destroy Martylion 20 years prior. He did this in the hope of luring Ionian soldiers to their deaths during their suppression efforts. His work involved the sacrifice of innocents from places such as Orosk Village, where he planned to use captured visitors as food for the Teras Pharma, and Schradt itself, which was destroyed when the Teras Pharma were unleashed to crush the Ionian soldiers there.

He would face the hero who was trying to prevent Zoxiom from activating the device that would create a new Teras Pharma. Enraged and dismissive of the hero's arguments that his revenge was killing as many innocents as Ionia did, Zoxiom would die in battle against the hero's forces.
