Syldis (シルディス, Shirudisu) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. She is a skilled swordswoman, aiding the war effort against the Teras Pharma.

History

Syldis was a young swordswoman who fought against the Teras Pharma in the year 100, at Zephtelos Fortress. She was the ancestor of both Thorwad Albreck and the hero. Her fighting style was completely different from her descendants as the Blue Flash Style had not yet been developed.

Highly mysterious and quiet, she projected an aura of calmness and security, but without feeling cold or austere. Once encountering the hero, she would request his aid in investigating rumors and sightings of the Teras Pharma, over the objections of the flirtatious Nolbanos Nobilious, who she disliked. Even after passing down her skills to the hero, she wondered if her talents were enough to deal with the Teras Pharma and any other dangers that could arise in the future.

Following the war, she would serve as a personal attendant for Astrid. In pursuit of an improved style of fighting, she would also work together with Maximus Zaphir to develop the signature style that would be passed down through her line.
