Achlites (アクリテス, Akuritesu) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a southern city that guards inner Ionia.
Information
Originally Achlites was merely a garrison for the 2nd Branch stationed behind the Great Wall of Achlites. Over time, soldier's families and various merchants would gather in the area, turning it into a town.
The appointment of Quinelia Liuis as General of the 2nd Branch would further encourage Achlites' prosperity. General Quinelia operated under the idea that the more prosperous Achlites was, the more soldiers would be inspired to protect it.
Quinelia's leadership would pay dividends as not only did the 2nd Branch rout the Vermilion Axe when they tried to breach the Great Wall, but when the Yggdrasilian Throne attempted to press the 2nd Branch against the Company, the people would support General Quinelia and the Company in open rebellion against the Holy Empire such was their loyalty and gratitude.
