The Magic Absorb Rune (魔力吸いの紋章, Maryoku Sui no Monshō), localized as Magic Drain Rune in Suikoden II, is a rune which appears in Suikoden II and Suikoden V.
This rune was attached only to weapons in the Dunan region. Hitting an attack with a weapon that bears this rune would possibly recover lower level magic for the wielder. On the other hand, the rune also lowered the accuracy of the weapon.
