Genshu (ゲンシュウ, Genshuu) is a character in Suikoden II. Genshu is a wandering swordsman who lent his strength to the New State Army.
Biography

Genshu is a swordsman obsessed with swords. He once worked as a mercenary for anyone who could afford to pay him, but grew tired of that lifestyle[1].
Genshu encountered Riou during the Dunan Unification War in Coronet. Impressed by Riou's sharpened weapon, Genshu joined the New State Army, feeling Riou had similar ideals[2]. Genshu particularly enjoyed being close to the Star Dragon Sword, which he was said to almost worship[3].
After the war, Genshu returned to his wandering life, his whereabouts unknown[4].
