Great Forest Village (大森林の村, Dai Shinrin no Mura) is a village which appears in Suikoden. The Great Forest Village is a small village located on the western fringes of the Great Forest.
Information
The Great Forest Village sits almost right on the border between southern Gouran and the Great Forest. The population living here were relatively unaware of their non-human neighbours due to the Forest of Illusion, which was considered maze-like and confusing due to it's magical protections and the supposed sighting of an elf or kobold were often treated with disbelief.
Following the Gate Rune War, more and more people from the village became aware of their previously hidden neighbours.
