Nicolas (ニコル, Nikoru) is a supporting character in Suikoden III. He is Duke's subordinate in the Harmonian Southern Frontier Defense Force's 14th Unit.

Biography

A member of the Fourteenth Unit of the Holy Harmonia Kingdom's Southern Frontier Defense Force who is loyal to Duke. Despite his quiet nature, he is dependable in combat. —  Nicolas' profile

Nicolas serves in the 14th Unit of the Harmonian Southern Frontier Defense Force, under the command of Duke. In the past, he fought alongside Duke's father but before he died, he asked Nicolas to take care of his son. Nicolas has served under Duke ever since.

He is a quiet man but one who is committed to his duty and obligations. In his spare time, his hobby is wood carving. Although he is unflinchingly supportive of Duke and the rest of his unit, Nicolas is also more aware of their flaws and how this could create tension with others.

Nicloas fought bravely for the 14th Unit during the War of the Champions and would serve in the Fire Bringer when Duke saved Geddoe's unit at Mt. Senai. Following the war, he accompanies Duke on his southern mission, acting as his shield in every battle.
