Any craftsman would be ashamed to begin a job and not finish it!

—  Tsai

Tsai is a craftsman and talented spearman and craftsman. He once pierced an iron helmet with a spear, earning him the nickname 'Tsai of the Divine Spear.' He originally lived in Ryube Village, but moved into the mountains surrounding the town seeking privacy. His reputation also led to his recruitment by Viktor as Viktor believed that only Tsai could repair the damaged Fire Spears. Tsai followed the mercenaries, eventually joining the New State Army after it was founded. Tsai served as an infantry leader during the Dunan Unification War, utilizing his outstanding handling of the spear.

Before the war, Tsai was estranged from his wife as he was absorbed in his spear making but following the conflict he reunited with his wife, dragged home by his daughter Tomo, who had also served in the New State Army.

Trivia

  • Tsai's ending will change depending on whether or not you've recruited his daughter, Tomo.
