History
Kong Long was a master of the Seven Star Sword style and the master of Valeria. In the past, he had also apparently tutored Valeria's father in fencing. He hailed from the south and 50 years ago had served in the court of Michelan Rugner, Emperor of the Scarlet Moon Empire but had resigned due to his distaste for political power struggles.
Kong Long was on his way to Gregminster to visit a friend when he helped a 14 year old Valeria defeat a boar, gaining revenge for her mother. Following this, he stayed for some time near Valeria's home village, training her in the ways of the sword.
