Hien (ヒエン, Hien) is a character from Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 2. Hien is the father of Sasuke who died in the Gate Rune War.

History

During the Gate Rune War, Hien was the deputy leader of the ninjas of Rokkaku. When the Imperial Army attacked the village, it was he who attempted to lead the swallow trainees to safety. His intuition led him to believe he was been trailed and so he turned back alone to draw away his pursuers and was never seen again.

He was the biological father of Sasuke, although Sasuke was unaware of this due to Rokkaku tradition forbidding children from knowing their parents identities. Because of this, Hien never had a parental relationship with his son.
