Jefferson (ジェファーソン, Jefāson) is a supporting character in Suikoden III. Jefferson is an "appointer", giving titles to people he encounters.

Jefferson is an eccentric man, with the attitude and bearing of a military instructor, who considers himself an "appointer", granting titles to people he meets.
He believes this work is what he was born to do and that giving people titles helps to promote peace and prosperity.
He came to Budehuc Castle during the War of the Champions and began to give members of the Fire Bringer titles and has remained there since then.
Following the war, he continued to live at the castle, conferring more titles to new arrivals.
