The Chronicle of the Tatau Council (秘枢たる線刻の書, Hi Kururutaru Senkoku no Sho) is a Chronicle, a critical item in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is the surviving record of a world consumed by the One King.

Information

This Chronicle as it appears on Liu.

The Chronicle of the Tatau Council is the surviving Chronicle of a world lost to the One King and world fusion.

The purple tattoos of the Chronicle of the Tatau Council denoted the Elder of the Scribes. Unlike many other Chronicles, the Scribes were fully aware of the identity of their False Chronicle. Their markings allowed them to remember events prior to their world fusion. Theirs was also the first world fusion to occur in the world of the hero, over a century ago.

At some point, the Chronicle was passed to the Nameless Hero in order to aid their fight against the One King, but regardless the world was lost and the Scribes were seemingly the only survivors of the world fusion. Following this, Valfred would come into contact with the Scribes, gaining information about the True Chronicle.

The Order of the One True Way would attempt to take the Chronicle from the Scribe Elder Lao-Kwan, but would be thwarted and Liu would inherit the Chronicle and title. The Chronicle of the Tatau Council also has the ability to neutralise other Chronicles, something that would prove useful several times during the fight against the Order.

Dirk would later persuade Liu to pass the Chronicle to him, in order to meet the hero as an equal. When the Order attempted to call the 11th world fusion over the hero's castle, Dirk would use the Chronicle of the Tatau Council to shift the location of the fusion, saving his friends, but ending his life in the process. After this, Liu would regain the Chronicle.
