Wakaba (ワカバ, Wakaba) is a character in Suikoden II who also appears in Genso Suikogaiden Volume 2. Wakaba is an energetic young martial artist who trains under Long Chan Chan.

Wakaba is a young martial artist training in Long Chan Chan Style Martial Arts. Wakaba's fascination with martial arts began at a local dojo, where she started her training[1]. One day, her master declared that she needed to seek out stronger opponents and left her[2]. While searching in Forest Village, she encountered Riou. Impressed by the young man's strength, she joined the New State Army.
During the Dunan Unification War, Wakaba was reunited with her master Long Chan Chan in Crom. The two trained together for the duration of the war. Wakaba's training routine was demanding[3], but Wakaba was highly dedicated[4].
Following the war, Wakaba continued to train with her master, with the goal of being able to beat a bear with her bare hands[5].
