The Tolna Canal (トルナ運河 Toruna Unga, Tolna Canal) is a river in the first Suikoden.
The Tolna Canal is a canal dug from Lake Toran to the sea[1]. The Floating Fortress of Shasarazade protects the north part of the canal[2]. Magician's Island, where Leknaat lived, lies near the mouth of the canal[3].
Trivia
- Torna Canal is a location in the Square RPG Final Fantasy V. Its Japanese name is exactly the same as its Suikoden equivalent. The difference in English spelling is simply a localisation deviation.
- Tolna is both a town and county within Hungary. Its accepted Japanese translation is the same as this canal (トルナ). This is why this translation has not been changed from its original.
