Template:Enemy MultiSirens (セイレーン, Seirēn) are an enemy in the first Suikoden.

Although Sirens have low DEF wherever you encounter them, they can still be bothersome as they are able to inflict the Silent status on your party members. However, due to their low DEF, most of the time they can be defeated before they can inflict the status. The Sirens encountered at the Floating Fortress of Shasarazade have significantly higher stats than their Kirov area counterparts but should be just as easy to defeat by the time you encounter them.

The Sirens at Shasarazade are your only source for Sound Setting 3.

Etymology

The sirens are Greek mythological figures who were portrayed as dangerous and devious femmes fatales luring nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their islands. They are depicted in some legends as cannibals and in others as merely callous murderers.

The Japanese Genso Suikoden I&II guide calls the Kirov-based creatures Pseudo-Sirens (セイレーンもどき, Seirēn Modoki), although the term is not used in the games in either English or Japanese.
