Shinro (シンロウ, Shinrou) is a minor character in Suikoden V. Shinro is a hard working merchant, hoping to make a big name for himself.
Biography
Shinro is a young man trying to follow in his grandfather, Sairoh's, footsteps as a great merchant. Shinro lost his parents at a young age, at around the same time his grandfather retired from the trading business himself. Training in Raftfleet, Shinro was a hard worker but his conscientious personality and straight forward nature might make him ill-fitted for the merchant lifestyle. Still, Shinro doesn't let these flaws get in his way and, carrying the huge abacus given to him by his grandfather, continues to work at his craft.
He would prove useful to the Imperial City Recapture Army, joining the force during the Sun Rune War and using his talents to quickly distribute and sell goods from the places the army had visited in his store. His well-stocked store at Ceras Lake was frequently filled with customers.
Following the war, Boz Wilde's trade expansion policies enabled Shinro to build a trade route with the New Armes Kingdom, causing his business to take off in a flash. His grandfather would continue to gently assist with the business as well.
