Maxine (マキシン, Makishin) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Maxine is an assassin who is contracted to kill the hero.

Biography

I was just bored, so I thought I'd drop you a line or two. Okay, that's all. —  Maxine

Maxine was an assassin who was hired by Ramada to take the life of the bearer of the Rune of Punishment. She was a lone wolf with a strong professional streak. Even after being defeated repeatedly, she would continue in her attempts and once defeated for good, refused to reveal her employer's identity.

On the Headquarters Ship, she also kept to herself, standing alone in the ship's infirmary. Following the Island Liberation War, Maxine disappeared saying that her contract had been fulfilled.

Trivia

• Maxine is one of the few characters who does not participate in Keen's confessional booth in Suikoden IV.
