Hans (ハンス, Hansu) is a character who appears in Suikoden II. He is an armourer by trade who travelled from Zexen to Jowston to make his fortune.

Biography
Suikoden II

Hans travelled all the way from the Zexen Federation, far west of the Dunan region in order to open a store but upon arriving in Two River, discovered that the city already had an armourer leaving him despondent[1]. Luckily, Riou happened upon the armourer in the New Leaf Inn in Two River and gave him the chance to open his own store, as part of the New State Army.
Hans was described as mild-mannered[2] and it was revealed he did not come from a rich Zexen family[3]. Although he had just enough money to establish himself in Jowston[4], he had also saved up an impressive amount of potch, although it was unknown where he kept it[5].
He remained at the castle following the Dunan Unification War, continuing to run his armoury there[6].
