Blackman (ブラックマン, Burakkuman) is a character in the original Suikoden game. Blackman is a farmer hailing from the razed town of Kalekka.

Blackman is a farmer who resided in Kalekka even after its destruction, tending to his plants. When Tir McDohl passed through the ruined town on his way to the Toran Liberation Army's Secret Factory, Blackman felt he could trust the young leader [1]. He agreed to join the Liberation Army, in order to protect that which he had grown[2].
Along with Zen, Blackman's produce helped the Toran Liberation Army become self-sufficient, although he still worried about his fields back in Kalekka[3]. Being physically strong from years of farming, Blackman was also able to fight in battles alongside veterans of the Liberation Army when needed.
After the Gate Rune War, Blackman returned to his fields in Kalekka, aiding in the town's continued restoration[4].
