Ōtsuki Beruno

Ōtsuki Beruno (おおつきべるの), born August 31, is an illustrator who worked on several Genso Suikoden Card Stories cards in the early 2000's.

Production History

Ōtsuki Beruno debuted in 1995 with an illustration in the Kadokawa Shoten computer magazine, Comptiq. The illustration would end up catching the eye of Funato Akari and Ōtsuki would work on the illustration for the Sega Saturn title Senkutsu Katsuryuu Taisen Chaos Seed.

For the Genso Suikoden Card Stories TCG, Ōtsuki would provide illustrations for the mission cards, as well as a selection of character cards. Through the early 2000s, Ōtsuki would work on several games and manga, especially the Final Fantasy XI series of manga published by Enterbrain, as well as Genso Suikoden Brunch.

In 2012, Ōtsuki worked as lead character designer for Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Since then, Ōtsuki has provided illustrations for several Japanese novels as well as character illustrations for the Koei-Tecmo free-to-play browser game Daikoukai Jidai V (Uncharted Waters).
