The Friendship Rune (友情の紋章, Yūjō no Monshō) is a rune which appears in Suikoden II.
This rune could not be borne by an individual, and had to be attached to a weapon. This mysterious rune had the effect of turning the bonds of friendship into physical strength. The more friends the bearer had brought to their side, the more powerful this rune became.
A very rare rune, it was only spotted a handful of times, found nestled in some South Window City bonsai during the Dunan Unification War or as a boon from the New State Army's Guardian Deity.
