Taki adored Lakewest, even choosing to stay in the town rather than follow her children to Two River City.

During the Dunan Unification War, Taki met the leader of the New State Army. Sensing it was hard for Riou to travel all the way to Lakewest every time he wished to talk, she moved to the New State Army's Headquarters in order to more conveniently offer advice.
