Fuma (フウマ, Fuuma) is a character in the original Suikoden game. He is a ninja not formally attached to any espionage organisation, a rarity for the occupation.

Fuma was a mysterious ninja who was spotted by in the Dragon Knight's Domain. Impressed by someone being able to detect him even when he was hiding[1], Fuma agreed to join the Toran Liberation Army. Not a member of the Kage nor a ninja of Rokkaku, the origin of Fuma's ninja's skills is unknown although Fuma considered him a follower of the 'Ninja Way'[2]. As a ninja, Fuma performed admirable espionage actions for the Liberation Army throughout the Gate Rune War[3].
After the fall of the Scarlet Moon Empire, Fuma's talents were recognized and he was invited by Hanzo to join the ninja at Rokkaku[4].
