Blue Flash Style (蒼閃流剣術, Sōsen-Ryū Kenjutsu) is a form of swordsmanship in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki.

Information

There can be only one

Blue Flash Style swordsmanship was originally developed through the cooperative efforts of Maximus Zaphir and Syldis sometime after HIY 100. It was developed specifically to be effective against Teras Pharma.

The style would from there be passed down along two distinct lines, that of the Zaphir family and that of Syldis' descendants, to Thorwad Albreck and eventually Syggni Albreck and the hero.

The Blue Flash Style was held in high esteem by the Holy Empire of Ionia due to its use by the Zaphir family and was easily recognizable. In HIY 300, Machia Zaphir was a master of the style. Throughout the conflict, the hero would learn many Blue Flash Style techniques from the Zaphir's family's ancestors as well as his own, making him very adept at the form. Tserendrum's sword style was said to hold similarities to the Blue Flash Style.
