The Order of the Gilded Leaf (光葉騎士団, Kōyō Kishi-dan) is a military organization in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is the elite military unit of the Holy Empire of Ionia.
Information
The Order of the Gilded Leaf was the royal guard and elite unit of the Holy Empire of Ionia. It was traditionally led by the head of the Zaphir noble house. Before his retirement in HIY 100, Maximus Zaphir led the order as its Knight Commander. By HIY 200, Mazarika Zaphir helmed the group and in HIY 300 Machia Zaphir was its leader.
Knights of the Order of the Gilded Leaf were forbidden from engaging in duels for personal satisfaction as it was not considered befitting towards their role as the sword of the Holy Empire itself. Its members are some of the most highly trained in all the land, able to fight even the Company to a standstill.
