Hodai (ホーダイ, Hōdai) is a character from Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 1. He was an apothecary of the Mt. Seifu bandits.

Hodai was a timid man and also uncomfortable with Guin's increased autocracy among the bandits, but was unable to resist it, fearing that antagonizing the bandit leader would only lead to disaster. He had prepared the poison that Guin used to try and assassinate Varkas, but also had an antidote prepared as well, administered when Varkas was able to strike Guin down.
