Gilliam (ギリアム, Giriamu) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Gilliam is an assistant to Macoute, Secretary of the Grayridge chapter of the Order of the One True Way.
Biography
Gilliam served as an adjutant to Macoute in the latter's role as chapter secretary for the Order of the One True Way in Gilliam's hometown of Grayridge. He also served as the head of the Grayridge town guard.
Though he was a sincere believer in the teachings of the Order, he was also an honest and sincere soldier and held the trust and respect of the townspeople. Even after Macoute's misdeeds were exposed and he was taken away, Gilliam continued to help administer Grayridge as an Order member.
It was only after the Order withdrew their troops from Grayridge to focus on the defense of Fort Arc, leaving it completely unprotected, that Gilliam left the Order. Realizing that the city couldn't survive on its own, he would enter into an alliance with the Company, joining its ranks.
Following the war, Gilliam would become the Mayor of Grayridge and lead the town's restoration efforts.
