Hermitage Island (庵の小島, An no Kojima) is a location which appears in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. It is a small island located in the southern Island Nations.
Information
This small island is located to the north-west of the Pirate's Nest and is notable for being covered by forest. The only structure on the island is a small hermitage where Elenor Silverberg, former strategist of the Scarlet Moon Empire, once resided. After the Island Liberation War, Maxine lived here for a short time until she joined Kyril's group as requested by Ramada.

Hermitage Island's theme in Suikoden IV is the song "A Certain Meeting", which is song 21 on disc 1 of the Gensosuikoden IV Original Soundtrack. It is not used on the entire island, and so is referred to as the theme of "Elenor's Hermitage".
In Suikoden Tactics, the song returns, rearranged under the same name, and is song 35, disc 1 of the Rhapsodia Original Soundtrack.
