The Technique Rune (手技の紋章, Shugi no Monshō) is a rune which appears in Suikoden II.
Information
This rune could not be borne by an individual, and had to be attached to a weapon. It gives the bearer a chance of stealing potch from the enemy they attack, making for a vicious mugging.

Technique Rune Steals potch (40% chance) with physical attack, once per enemy per battle. Will steal the normal drop amount from regular enemies, and x0.3 the drop amount from bosses.

Name
The term Technique Rune is accurate, but the Japanese Shugi more precisely refers to hand craft or techniques, making it more a reference to the dexterity needed to pickpocket someone.
