Gantetsu (ガンテツ, Gantetsu) is a character in Suikoden II. He is a priest with violent tendencies.
Biography

Gantetsu is a neophyte of Qlon Temple who was excommunicated due to his violent tendencies[1]. Gantetsu eventually travelled to South Window where he encountered Riou.
Gantetsu challenged Riou to a contest of strength and, when Riou proved the victor, Gantetsu joined the New State Army.
Following the end of the Dunan Unification War, Gantetsu returned to Qlon Temple, his expulsion rescinded[2].
Trivia
- When entering or exiting your party, Gantetsu will say, "Namyo Ho Renge Kyo...", a Buddhist chant.
