Urda (ウルダ, Uruda) is a supporting character in Suikoden V. Isato is an elven archer who serves as chief cleric in the Holy Land of Lunas.

Biography

Such abominable machines. Why do humans insist on making such horrible things? —  Urda

Urda is a young elf from the hidden village of Alseid who left her homeland in order to find and bring Isato home. On the surface, she presents an ice-cold demeanour but when it comes to Isato, she can get very emotional. The two have been friends since childhood and it seems Urda had unspoken feelings towards him.

Although she harboured strong prejudice against humans, when Urda found out Isato had joined Haswar in the Imperial City Recapture Army, she too would join in order to stay close by. As part of the army, she would frequently get into arguments with human officers. She was particularly opposed to guns, arguing at length with Cathari on the matter.

After the Sun Rune War, Urda would return to Alseid without Isato but would frequently commute between her home and Lunas in order to visit him, her true feelings still hidden.
