Liu (リウ, Riu), referred to simply as the Mage (魔道士, Madōshi) in-game, is a character in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro who also appears in flashback in Suikoden Tierkreis. He is a version of Liu from another world in the Infinity.
History
This individual fought in the Star Corps alongside the Nameless Hero's wife once the Nameless Hero joined the Order. He was an old friend and colleague of the Nameless Hero.
Once the Nameless Hero changed sides and became the Commander of the Star Corps, this man would again become one of his closest allies and confidants. Always calm and highly trusted, he was the lead strategist for the Star Corps and the Commander would always listen to his advice.
He favored lightning magic when in combat. His Scribe tattoos were red, bringing up the possibility that he was exiled from his community.
He also held a sarcastic edge, even being able to laugh at the words of the One King during the final battle. He fought the One King alongside his Commander and other friends as the last of the Star Corps and died.
