El-Qaral (エル・カーラル, Eru Kāraru) is a city in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is a huge, sprawling city and serves as the imperial capital of the Magedom of Janam.
Information
El-Qaral is the capital of the Magedom of Janam. Although it is a smaller city than Cynas, it is also far more lively, exotic, and colorful.
The city was extremely prosperous and the center of Janam's politics and culture, as well as the source of Janam's research into Chronicles. But all this grand legacy and history would be nullified in an instant, buried in sand with the emergence of the 10th world and the Chronicle of Boundless Amber.
Buried under sand, this El-Qaral is known as an archeological site that had been excavated and looted over the years. The abandoned palace is still recognizable, though lies in ruins. Thanks to the foresight of Rizwan, the Imperial Academy is the only institution that managed to escape the collapse and remain in more-or-less its original form.
