Quincy (クインシー, Kuinshī) is a character in the original Suikoden game. Quincy is a forest-dwelling hunter with a tendency to avoid risking commitment to a cause until he's sure of the results.

Quincy was a hunter living in the forests around Fortress of Garan, hoping to one day make a name for himself[1]. He encountered Tir McDohl at Garan Fortress during the Gate Rune War. However, the young hunter did not agree to join the Toran Liberation Army until he felt certain that the Imperial forces would lose the war[2].
Quincy does not use a bow in combat, despite his skill with the weapon; he prefers to throw knives instead and reserves his bow exclusively for hunting. He reacted favourably to Toran Castle, although he didn't consider it a patch on his own home[3].
After the war, Quincy simply returned to his hunting lifestyle in the Great Forest[4], living in freedom while hunting alone[5].
