The Nightmare (マジシャン, Majishan, Magician) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden II.

Information

This monster had been witnessed in the Sindar Ruins of Muse Principality during the Dunan Unification War. Their appearance is that of a jester lurking inside a playing card. They mainly excel at magic and have a wide variety of magic attacks and resist most magic launched at them in return.

Trivia

  • Hidden in the Nightmare's sprite data is a Magic: The Gathering card back. Several members of the Suikoden II staff were fans of the trading card game.

The card is not visible in the game itself.
