These armadillo-like monsters appeared on the Muse-Highland Border in the Dunan Unification War. Their entire body is covered with a stiff carapace. Because of this, damaging it through normal weapon attacks can be difficult. It can also hurt its foes by bouncing off its opponents with its tough shell. If you want a short encounter, fire magic will hurt this monster.

A similar creature, the Armadilloid, appears at the same time but it is clear that they are different creatures.

Trivia

  • In the Japanese Suikoden II, Armadillon and Armadilloids share the same name. The Armadillon is spelt out in Katakana rather than Hiragana like the Armadilloid.
