}}'''Schtolteheim Reinbach II''' (シュトルテハイム・ラインバッハ2世, ''Shutorutehaimu Rainbahha 2-sei'') is a minor character in [[Suikoden IV]] and [[Suikoden Tactics]]. Reinbach II is the lord of [[Middleport]] and father of [[Schtolteheim Reinbach III]].

==Biography==

Schtolteheim Reinbach II was the nobleman who governed [[Middleport]] as the second generation head of the Reinbach family. When Middleport was forced to declare independence from the [[Dukedom of Gaien]] following occupation by the [[Kooluk Empire]], Reinbach II was able to develop the town greatly, gaining him the trust of the people under his rule.

Although he appeared to be a worthy, if haughty, lord on the surface, much of his fortune and Middleport's prosperity stemmed from his secretive trading of [[Rune Cannon]] material and ammunition to any and all interested parties. Very few people knew of Reinbach II's darker practices and he would ensure this by having his private fleet attack and kill anyone who knew too much or asked too many questions.

In the past, [[Sigurd]] worked under him and he had sent Sigurd to silence [[Walter]] and his friends after they started inquiring about rune cannons in Middleport. This attack was thwarted by a raid from the pirate [[Steele]], however. It also appears the assassin [[Keen]] was hired by Reinbach II to silence Sigurd in turn once he abandoned his job. As his wealth and position came from trading with all parties, during the [[Island Liberation War]] he pursued a policy of neutrality and Middleport would join the new [[Island Nations Federation]] following the war's conclusion.

His son, [[Schtolteheim Reinbach III]], would condemn his father's practices during the war and would succeed him following the conflict.
